How about starting your weekend morning by enjoying some classic rakugo? We’re bringing the weekend-morning rakugo series “１０１らくご,” held monthly in Chiyoda, Tokyo, to Kōriyama as well. You can watch rakugo up close, performed by the storyteller Tamaya Ryūsei. The program is planned to be a longer opening talk and two rakugo pieces, or one long-form piece. For those who want to try listening to rakugo but feel that going to a yose is a bit of a hurdle, this will be a quick and easy event in a coworking-space lounge, so please feel free to drop by. Koriyama Young Rakugo Association Koiraku will hold its first temple yose on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Komyozan Zendō-ji in Shimizudai, Koriyama City. For this 8th performance, we welcome the young rakugo storyteller from Tochigi Prefecture, **春風亭朝枝（しゅんぷうてい ちょうし）**. He entered the school of master Shunpūtei Icchō in 2015, became a zenza in 2016, and was promoted to futatsume in 2020. He has built a strong record in various rakugo competitions regarded as gateways for young performers, including winner of 「第22回さがみはら若手落語家選手権」 (2023), winner of 「天下一落語会」 (2024), and Grand Prix in the rakugo division of the finals at 「第4回プリモ芸術コンクール2025」 (2025). He is a rakugo storyteller attracting much attention. This time, different from our usual hall performances, you can fully enjoy the rakugo of **春風亭朝枝（しゅんぷうてい ちょうし）** in the ideal setting of a temple’s main hall.
